Handbuilding Vessel Course
4-Week Handbuilding Vessels Course
3 Hours per Class • 4 Weeks • 4 Students Max • Beginner
Learn the foundations of ceramic handbuilding in this beginner-friendly course focused on creating functional vessels by hand. Over four weeks, students will explore pinch, coil, and slab construction techniques to make forms such as cups, mugs, vases, and other functional vessels while becoming familiar with studio tools and clay processes.
With a small class size of just four students, this course offers plenty of one-on-one guidance in a relaxed studio setting, making it approachable for beginners while still allowing room for exploration. The goal of this class is for each student to leave with finished work they feel proud of and new ceramic skills they feel confident continuing to explore beyond the studio.
